We supply these Mild Steel SS400 Sheet and Plates in accordance with DIN, ISO, JIS or ANSI Standard.
Mild Steel SS400 Sheet and Plates find uses that are as varied as the industries they support, led mainly by the aerospace, railway, construction and automotive sectors along with petrochemical, nuclear, medical, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Nuclear, Thermal Power plants, Paper and Pulp, marine and mining, etc.
Typically, mild steel SS400 sheets and plates are not appropriate for cryogenic uses. When temperatures drop below -20°C (-4°F), stainless steel may turn brittle, losing its toughness and ability to withstand shock. As a result, it becomes more prone to cracking and failing under cryogenic conditions. In cryogenic uses, materials that are highly strong and resistant to brittleness, like stainless steel or specialized low-temperature alloys, are favored to guarantee safety and dependability in extremely cold settings.
