Mild Steel A36 Sheet Plates find uses as varied as the industries they cater to, led chiefly by the aerospace, railway, construction and automotive sectors along with petrochemical, nuclear, medical, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Nuclear, Thermal Power plants, Paper and Pulp, marine and mining, etc.
Flexible steel A36 paper plates are generally not a good fit for cryogenic applications. A36 steel holds up well at room and moderate temperatures, but its ductility and hardness drop considerably at very low temperatures. Cryogenic applications call for very hard materials at low temperatures to guard against brittle fractures. Special steels, like austenitic stainless steels or particular cryogenic grade steels, are the preferred choice to guarantee safety and performance.
